Marshmallow Cocoa Bombs
Get ready to turn your cozy cocoa time into a frothy spectacle with our marshmallow cocoa bombs!
Ingredients:
For the Cocoa Bomb Shell:
- 2 cups vegan chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- Silicone sphere molds
For the Filling:
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons Funky Mello marshmallow creme
Instructions:
- Melt the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl using a double boiler or in short bursts in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
- Mix in cocoa powder until fully combined.
- Using a spoon, coat the inside of each silicone sphere mold with the melted chocolate mixture, creating a thin layer. Ensure the edges are thoroughly coated.
- Place the molds in the refrigerator to set for at least 15-20 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix cocoa powder and powdered sugar for the filling.
- Spoon a small amount of the mixture into half of the chocolate shells, spreading it to coat the inside evenly.
- Add a dollop of marshmallow creme on top of the cocoa mixture in each shell.
- Heat a plate in the microwave for a few seconds until warm.
- Take the remaining chocolate shells out of the refrigerator and place them, flat side down, on the warm plate to slightly melt the edges.
- Quickly but gently press each empty shell onto its corresponding filled shell, sealing the edges. The melted chocolate will act as glue.
- Serve the cocoa bombs in mugs.
- Pour hot plant-based milk over the bombs, and watch as they burst open, releasing the cocoa mix and marshmallow creme.
- Stir the contents until well combined, and if desired, top with more marshmallow creme!
